Sony Inzone M10S II delivers 0.02ms pixel response and 540 Hz refresh for esports
Sony's new OLED gaming monitor targets competitive players with industry-leading pixel response time, a 27-inch 1440p display, and features co-developed with esports organisation Fnatic. The $1,099 panel prioritises speed over cinematic image quality.

Sony has released the Inzone M10S II, a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor engineered for fast-paced competitive gaming. The monitor's headline spec is a 0.02 millisecond pixel response time, the fastest OLED gaming display reviewed to date. It pairs this with a 540 Hz refresh rate at 1440p and 720 Hz at 720p, along with a 1,500 nits peak HDR brightness and 335 nits full-screen brightness.
The monitor uses an LG Tandem WOLED panel with an RGWB subpixel structure. Sony developed the Inzone M10S II with esports organisation Fnatic, and the design reflects that focus. A tiny round base minimises desk intrusion while remaining stable on hard surfaces. The stand permits up to 35 degrees of upward tilt, accommodating pro gamers who prefer aggressive monitor angles. The matte anti-glare coating suppresses reflections in bright light, though it reduces the contrast and saturation compared to glossy OLED panels.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-A hub, and 3.5mm audio. The monitor lacks USB-C connectivity, which PC Gamer notes is an omission at this price point despite the gaming-focused design. Sony covers the panel with a three-year warranty including OLED burn-in protection.
In testing, PC Gamer found the monitor delivers exceptional motion clarity. The reviewer stated: "This monitor has the best motion clarity I have ever seen, it's absolutely fantastic." The 540 Hz refresh rate produces sharper motion than higher-refresh competitors in real-world gaming, where frame rates often fall short of maximum capacity. The monitor includes a 270 Hz Motion Blur Reduction mode, which approximates the clarity of the full 540 Hz refresh by inserting black frames between rendered frames.
The Inzone M10S II offers dual-mode support with 24.5-inch display options at both native 2,368-by-1,332 pixels and 1080p, with the unused panel area completely dark. This flexibility suits esports players who prefer smaller effective screen sizes. Sony includes FPS Pro presets that increase contrast and accentuate red tones, useful in games like Valorant where enemies are outlined in bright red.
Anti-VRR flicker technology and motion blur reduction are included as gaming-centric features. The panel's brightness levels rank among the highest available for gaming OLEDs, though the RGWB subpixel structure used to achieve this brightness results in lower colour saturation than RGB-stripe OLED panels.
The monitor costs $1,099 in the United States and £1,199 in the UK. At this price, it competes directly with larger, higher-resolution OLED alternatives. Alienware's AW3926QW offers a 39-inch 5K2K display at comparable pricing, while Asus's ROG Swift PG32UCWM provides a 32-inch 4K option. PC Gamer's review recommends the Sony for esports use despite the premium pricing, noting that achieving the frame rates needed to saturate even 540 Hz remains challenging in most competitive titles without extreme hardware.
