Sony Announces State of Play and State of Play Japan for September 3
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced back-to-back State of Play broadcasts for September 3, featuring global updates and deep dives into titles from Japan and Asia.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that two back-to-back State of Play broadcasts will air on September 3, starting at 6:00 a.m. PT / 9:00 a.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. CEST / 10:00 p.m. JST. The events will be broadcast live on YouTube and Twitch, offering fans a look at various upcoming titles through different studio announcements and regional presentations.
The first broadcast will feature updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. This segment will conclude with an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation, presented by Square Enix.
Immediately following the first presentation, a new episode of State of Play Japan will air, hosted by Yuki Kaji. This second broadcast will deliver deep dives into upcoming games from studios located across Japan and Asia, showcasing new gameplay and announcements. State of Play will broadcast in English with Japanese subtitles, while State of Play Japan will air in Japanese with English subtitles available.
In an advisory regarding co-streaming and video-on-demand archives, Sony noted that the broadcasts may include copyrighted content outside of their control, such as licensed music. Creators planning to save VODs or repost clips are advised to omit copyrighted music to avoid interference.
