Crunchyroll Announces Dedicated Anime Hub for PlayStation 5

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Crunchyroll will release a dedicated anime hub for the PlayStation 5. The partnership creates a new space on the console where users can access Crunchyroll’s catalog directly.

Anime fans on PS5 will find the hub a convenient addition. Instead of switching to a separate device or PC, players can launch the hub from the PS5 home screen and start streaming shows they already follow.

The hub is part of Sony’s broader effort to expand entertainment options on the PlayStation ecosystem. By integrating a major streaming service, the company gives owners more reasons to keep the console active beyond gaming.

Crunchyroll’s presence on the PlayStation 5 also reflects the growing demand for anime content across all platforms. The service already offers a mobile app and web player, and the console version adds another channel for viewers.

Details about the hub’s exact location in the PS Store and any special features are not yet disclosed. The announcement confirms only that a dedicated space will be available on the PlayStation 5.
