LEGO and PlayStation Announce 1,911-Piece Replica Set Launching in October 2026
PlayStation and the LEGO Group have announced an all-new 1,911-piece LEGO PlayStation set celebrating 30 years of play.
During a recent State of Play presentation, an all-new collaboration between the LEGO Group and PlayStation was revealed. The upcoming LEGO PlayStation set celebrates over 30 years of shared gaming experiences and community history, allowing fans to build a near 1:1 scale replica of the original PlayStation console and controller entirely out of bricks.
Comprising 1,911 pieces, the fully assembled console measures 10.5 inches or 26 centimeters wide. The interactive set features functional mechanisms for the console's Power and Open buttons, a pluggable controller, and removable game dioramas. These dioramas reference two iconic titles that launched on the original PlayStation console: Ape Escape and Gran Turismo. The Gran Turismo diorama includes a miniature track with scaled-down cars, while the Ape Escape scene features an island with a swappable blue or red light on the monkey's helmet. Builders can also remove both dioramas to display them separately, alongside discovering various hidden details from PlayStation history built into the set.
The LEGO PlayStation set will be available directly from PlayStation starting October 1, 2026, across the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Additionally, LEGO Insiders Early Access begins on October 1, 2026, with a wider public release via LEGO.com and physical LEGO Stores following on October 4, 2026. The recommended retail price is set at $179.99 USD, €159.99 EURO, £139.99 GBP, and ¥27,980 JPY inclusive of tax.
