Legacy and BETBOOM have secured semi-final berths at FISSURE Playground 3. As the two top seeds in the group stage, they earned a bye in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, G2 broke their quarter-final curse at the tournament by taking down FURIA 2-0. The victory sends G2 into the top-four of a Big Event for the first time since winning BLAST Open London over a year ago. G2 advanced to a semi-final matchup against BETBOOM.
FURIA's tournament ended on their own map pick of Dust2. FURIA will be left ruing the fact they let Ancient slip through their fingers after holding an 11-7 lead and outplaying their opponents tactically. G2 recovered with strong individual performances, particularly from Matúš "MATYS" Šimko, before dominating a struggling FURIA squad on Dust2. G2 previously secured their playoff berth by defeating 5star.
