FURIA beats MIBR 2-0 to face Vitality in StarLadder consolidation final

FURIA defeated MIBR 2-0 in the consolidation bracket at StarLadder StarSeries Fall, setting up a rematch with Vitality. The South American derby played out faster than their opening-round clash Thursday, with FURIA needing just two maps to secure the win.

On Mirage, MIBR attempted to exploit FURIA's recent struggles on the map, but the plan backfired. MIBR stormed to a 5-0 lead through early dominance before FURIA recalibrated their defense and seized control. Lucas "nqz" Soares and Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo pulled MIBR back into the game with a successful pistol round, but FURIA's superior firepower took over. Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis led a dominant 6-0 run that locked down the map in FURIA's favor.

Nuke proved more competitive. Yuri "yuurih" Santos opened with a 1v2 clutch to give FURIA an early edge, and venomzera answered with three kills for MIBR. MIBR's defense tightened considerably, holding FURIA to just three rounds in the second half, two coming via clutches. Despite their defensive effort, MIBR's inability to string wins together cost them. FURIA closed out the series with a four-kill round from Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato.

The victory sends FURIA toward a consolidation final against Vitality, offering revenge for Friday's decisive loss. The winner advances directly to a best-of-five against Aurora.
