Vitality advance to StarSeries Fall upper finals with dominant victory over FURIA

Vitality reached the upper bracket final of StarSeries Fall following a resounding two-map victory over FURIA, winning 13-8 on Mirage and 13-5 on Dust2. The team will face Aurora next for a spot in the grand final.

The win marks a statement performance for Vitality after a deflated start to the Fall season. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was instrumental on Mirage, recording 15 kills by the break with five opening kills in the first half. His impact extended to crucial moments including a 1v3 clutch and multiple triple kills that prevented FURIA from gaining momentum.

Vitality's early struggles on Mirage saw them trail 1-5, but FURIA's execution faltered when Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo collided with William "mezii" Merriman while running the bomb into site. This mistake opened the door for Vitality's comeback, with ZywOo taking over the map. On Dust2, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire took the lead alongside Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, with apEX topping the scoreboard to seal the series. Vitality led 7-5 at halftime before extending their advantage decisively in the second half, with mezii closing out the match with a 1v2 clutch.

The victory demonstrates renewed cohesion for the team, with apEX's form continuing to improve after the squad dealt with playing with a stand-in at BLAST Porto.
