Leak Offers First Look at Upcoming Lego PlayStation Set

A recent photo leak shared by Brick Tap on Reddit has revealed the first look at an anticipated Lego PlayStation building set. Rumors regarding a collaboration between Lego and Sony first surfaced last spring, with reports claiming the model would consist of 1,911 pieces and carry a $160 price tag.

The newly leaked images showcase details including a working disc tray, a memory card slot, and pluggable controllers. Additionally, the set reportedly incorporates PlayStation Easter eggs inspired by classic titles such as Ape Escape and Gran Turismo. According to the leak, the product is slated for an October 1 release, indicating that an official announcement from the companies may arrive soon.

This collaboration follows previous retro console releases from Lego, which include models modeled after the Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and Mega Drive. Meanwhile, competing toy manufacturer Mattel has also been reported to be developing a similar building set inspired by the original Xbox console.
