Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Reveals New Companion Aspyce Chorda

Developer Owlcat Games has revealed a new companion character for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy named Lord Captain Aspyce Chorda. The character introduction arrives alongside a new trailer, following previous companion reveals that featured Saro, Laarthyr, Haymar Devos, Epione Spes, and Cogg. In Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, players control an acolyte of the Inquisition amidst the backdrop of the Noctis Aeterna. During their investigations, players are accompanied by a warband of loyal Imperials and Xenos.

Lord Captain Chorda is a renowned Rogue Trader with a fearsome reputation and a noble lineage tracing back to a Scintillan dynasty. Cut off from her domain in the Koronus Expanse, she finds herself dreadfully bored and joins the Inquisition investigation to find entertainment. Her high confidence and social skills make her a valuable companion for charming conversation partners, alongside her knowledge of Xenos lore. In combat, Chorda serves as an Officer who can boost ally morale and make enemies cower, while also handling melee and ranged weapons including dual wielding.

Players who purchased one of the game Founder Packs on the official website can already recruit Chorda in the ongoing Dark Heresy beta on PC. The title is in development for Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, alongside console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. While a general release window has not yet been announced, the game continues to make progress through its beta phase.
