Metaphor: ReFantazio trailer spotlights Strohl ahead of November 2026 launch

Atlus released a new character trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio today, centering on Strohl, a young man of the clemar tribe known for his sharp mind and strong sense of justice.

Despite coming from a noble family, Strohl's path is unusual. It is rare for a noble to enlist in the army alongside commoners, and his circumstances are described as complicated. He meets the protagonist at the recruitment center for the State Army.

The game itself is an RPG praised worldwide for its narrative, game design, and combat system. It holds a Metascore of 94 and has earned over 50 prestigious awards, including Best RPG at The Game Awards 2024.

Set to launch on November 12, 2026, Metaphor: ReFantazio invites players to enter a royal tournament to fight for the throne and shape the future. Players can awaken dormant Archetype powers, team up with a compelling cast, and experience dynamic turn-based combat blended with real-time elements.

A demo for the Nintendo Switch 2 version is now available to download.
