Helldivers 2 Celebrates Liberty Day 2026 With In-Game Gifts

Arrowhead Studios is celebrating Liberty Day, an in-universe event in Helldivers 2, for the third consecutive year. To mark the occasion on October 26, the developer is providing active players with various in-game gifts and visual updates to their ship lobbies.

For 24 hours on October 26, Super Destroyers will feature holiday ship adornments. These decorations include banners, rugs, and party supplies. Players who participate in the celebrations can earn the AR-23L Liberator Legacy, a rifle modeled after weapons from the First Galactic War. This weapon will be rewarded at the conclusion of the celebrations at 23:59 CET on October 26, 2026. The gift is available to all players who have played since September 26, 2026, at 00:00 CET.

The event also brings back community minigames for members of the official Discord server. These include Minidivers, where players use emoji stratagem codes in chat to stop enemy waves, and Adopt-a-SEAF, which allows players to care for a character and send them on missions. Other Discord activities include the Oath of Enlistment and Raise the Flag.

Outside of the game, Arrowhead has released a Liberty Day Party Pack containing recipes, games, decorations, and printable helmets. New merchandise is also available through the Super Merch store and third-party partners. Displate is offering a limited edition set of six metal collectibles called Display Shards, as well as metal posters. Additionally, a limited edition collector's box set from FiGGYZ featuring four pixel-art magnetic figures will be available for pre-order starting November 20.

Players can also unlock specific items for purchase at the Super Merch store by completing in-game achievements before February 28, 2027. Reaching Level 100 and earning the "Hell Commander" title unlocks the Hell Commander Pin. Completing 75 missions unlocks the Private Teddy Snuggles Plush.

Helldivers 2 is available for purchase at the PlayStation Store or through the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for members with a PlayStation Plus Extra membership.
