Vampire Survivors Legacy Of The Bloodmoon DLC Confirmed For August 28 Release
Poncle has announced the upcoming release of the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC for Vampire Survivors, arriving on August 28, 2026.
Developer Poncle has officially announced that a new expansion titled Legacy of the Bloodmoon will launch for Vampire Survivors on August 28, 2026. The upcoming downloadable content package is set to introduce a wide array of new gameplay elements, including over 10 brand-new characters, 16 new weapons, a selection of fresh music tracks, and an expansive new stage.
Among the newly unveiled characters joining the roster are Malice Bloodmoon, Calogero Bloodmoon, Baal’Thasar, Ashtart, and Sargon. Players will also be able to wield 16 new weapons, such as the Scarlet Needle, Incineration, Blacken Firmament, and FireBall. In addition, the expansion brings the Red Moon Manor XL stage, which narrative details describe as the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon, built by Baal’Thasar to conceal the secret of immortality. Players will also experience several new musical tracks, including “Legacy of the Bloodmoon,” “It’s Her Nature,” “What He Wished For,” “Borrowed Feathers,” “Grasp All,” “Lose All,” “You Knew What He Was,” and “When You Took Him In.”
In broader studio news, Poncle previously revealed back in April that it has 15 projects in development and plans to expand its global operations by establishing new studios in both Italy and Japan. The ongoing success of Vampire Survivors has enabled the company to reinvest into three core strategic areas: spinoffs, original intellectual properties, and new entries in the Survivors style based on existing franchises.
