Leaker Cyberleek Releases 25 Minutes of New Grand Theft Auto 6 Gameplay
A notorious leaker known as Cyberleek has returned after a month of silence to release a 25-minute video featuring new gameplay, cutscenes, and first-person footage of Grand Theft Auto 6.
The leaker known as Cyberleek has returned after more than a month of silence to release approximately 25 minutes of new gameplay footage and cutscenes from Grand Theft Auto 6. The leak, which appeared on October 8, follows a period of inactivity since August and comes just weeks before the game's expected release.
The leaked video, reportedly titled "Extended Leek," is a reference to Rockstar Games' official "GTA 6: An Extended Look" trailer that previously aired on Netflix. According to reports from community members and dataminers, the 367 MB file contains a variety of segments, including in-game racing events and story spoilers.
A significant portion of the footage focuses on nudity. The video shows the protagonist Jason completely naked, which aligns with recent reports that the character can be seen nude in the shower. Additionally, the footage features the protagonist Lucia walking in public wearing only a thong or skimpy swimwear, though she is shown primarily from behind.
The footage also reveals the presence of first-person gameplay. This is a notable detail as Rockstar had not officially confirmed a first-person mode for the title, and some previous reports suggested it would not be available at launch. First-person views were a feature of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Cyberleek had previously released clips in August showing vehicle theft, basketball, and various locations in Vice City. The leaker reportedly disappeared in late August with approximately $250,000 in cryptocurrency earnings. Recent activity in the leaker's cryptocurrency wallet and a mysterious poll with an October 8 deadline preceded this latest release. Reports indicate Cyberleek may be using the clip to raise money for an expensive gaming-related project.
Rockstar Games and Take-Two have previously taken action against these leaks. While the footage has spread across social media platforms, it is expected that the companies will attempt to have the content removed.
