Developer and publisher updates reveal that a brand-new expansion for Vampire Survivors has been officially announced under the title Legacy of the Blood Moon. According to details shared regarding the upcoming add-on, players can expect a substantial expansion to the game's roster and arsenal when it launches.

The upcoming download content is confirmed to introduce more than eight new characters to the game, alongside over eight new weapons and weapon evolutions for players to master. Official background lore accompanying the announcement notes that in ancient times, Saint Baal’Thasar had a vision of a lit paradise.
