In A Violent Nature 2 set for February 2027 release

The POV horror film In A Violent Nature will receive a sequel next year. During New York Comic-Con, it was revealed that In A Violent Nature 2 is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027.

Actor Ry Barrett, who played the undead firefighter Johnny in the first film, announced his return to the franchise. The new installment will see Johnny return to a summer camp setting. The plot follows a camper who is roped into attending an end-of-season party alongside a counselor sister and her friends. The film will continue using the first-person perspective to show the character's actions.

The original film received critical and audience praise for its approach to the slasher genre, earning a 79% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Director Chris Nash is expected to expand on the concept, potentially exploring more of Johnny's past while maintaining the established visual style.
