Lyrical Games and One More Level have released a five-minute overview trailer for action RPG Valor Mortis, offering players a comprehensive look at the game ahead of its launch in mid-October.

The trailer, narrated by James Alexander who voices protagonist William Dowsett, walks through the game's core systems. It covers the story setup, methodical combat mechanics, transmutation abilities, upgrade options, and exploration features that define the Metroidvania-inspired experience.

Valor Mortis releases on October 13, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at $39.99. The game combines brutal combat with a narrative set during an alternate take on the Napoleonic Wars, shrouded in horror and conspiracy.

The story follows William Dowsett, an English soldier who volunteered for Napoleon's army. He wakes on a battlefield with his memory gone, forced to navigate competing pressures: Napoleon's direction and the mysterious rebel fighter known as the Shrike. Vincent Cassel voices Napoleon in the game.
