Turtle Beach Reveals Fortnite Kevin the Cube Wireless Controller for Switch 2

Turtle Beach has expanded its hardware lineup with the unveiling of the Fortnite Kevin the Cube controller. The accessory was revealed during Gamescom celebrations and draws visual inspiration from the glowing purple cube featured in Fortnite lore since Season 5. Officially licensed for Nintendo platforms, the gamepad features a purple exterior coated in runes that reveal a rainbow spread of text when the pad is picked up, alongside a total of four lighting effects.

The accessory is priced at $69.99 for the Rematch controller variant, while fans can also purchase the controller for $54.99 directly from the Turtle Beach online store. Turtle Beach has confirmed that every purchase of the pad will include a code to claim a Capoeira emote when the product launches later this year on October 8.

From a hardware perspective, the controller includes stick-defying TMR thumbsticks, mappable back buttons, and a 40-hour battery life. However, users will miss out on certain premium features found on standard Pro controllers, such as NFC-reading technology and HD rumble. Alongside the Kevin the Cube design, Turtle Beach also showcased the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded Fortnite Drift controller on the Gamescom floor.
