Girls und Panzer: All-Star Tank Carnival Announced for Nintendo Switch 2

D3 Publisher has announced Girls und Panzer: All-Star Tank Carnival, a new tank action game in development for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is set to launch in 2027, though a specific release date has not been provided.

Developed by the team behind Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match, the title is described as a full-fledged tank action game where players pilot tanks and battle against opponents. The fast-paced action that fans enjoyed in Dream Tank Match returns, featuring close-quarters combat, armor angling, and the ability to target tank treads to immobilize enemies.

The game introduces an Explore Oarai mode, allowing players to tour the town virtually, taking in familiar sights from the series. Driving the Panzer IV around town and talking to friends scattered across Oarai triggers game-original story quests. The game progresses as players explore the town.

Online battles support up to 10 players, letting players use their favorite tank and crew combinations to engage in real-time tank combat against rivals nationwide. The graphics and presentation have been improved, with tank commander reactions and dialogue adding to the excitement of each match.

A trailer for the game is available to view, and more details are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
