Treble Technologies Raises $18 Million to Expand Sound Simulation and Physical AI
Treble Technologies has secured an $18 million Series A-2 funding round to scale its acoustic simulation platform for physical AI, consumer electronics, and enterprise applications.

Treble Technologies has raised $18 million in a Series A-2 funding round to expand its acoustic simulation platform into physical AI. The investment, equivalent to approximately €15 million, was led by Paladin Capital Group. It included participation from existing investors KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, and the European Innovation Council Fund. This latest round brings Treble’s total funding to date to €36 million.
The company specializes in synthetic acoustic data generation and sound simulation. Its technology platform helps device makers and artificial intelligence developers train, test, and improve products across real-world acoustic conditions. As voice interfaces and audio intelligence become more prevalent, intelligent machines must interpret sounds accurately amidst background noise, diverse room configurations, and changing device placements.
Finnur Pind, CEO of Treble, stated that physical AI models and devices often struggle when encountering reverberation, background noise, or unfamiliar physical environments in the real world. Pind noted that the company gives development teams a scalable way to model those conditions and test products to ensure reliable operation.
Treble has previously collaborated with major technology companies such as Amazon and Logitech. Wontak Kim, Senior Audio Research Manager at Amazon, stated that virtual acoustic environments help accelerate product design and model development for the Alexa assistant. Andy Harper, Head of Audio AI and Signal Processing at Logitech, noted that Treble allows the company to accurately simulate complex acoustic environments at scale.
The platform combines acoustic simulation, digital twins, and synthetic data generation to replicate how sound physically moves through space. This approach allows developers to create digital acoustic versions of rooms, materials, vehicles, and ambient sound conditions. According to the company, development teams can reduce prototype testing and data collection efforts from months to days.
François Ruether, Vice President at Paladin Capital Group, pointed out that robotics will drive a profound wave of automation, but current robots are largely limited to visual perception rather than interpreting critical sounds. Ruether stated that Treble has developed a simulation platform designed to help physical AI models and robots integrate visual and auditory inputs.
