Reacher Season 6 Confirmed After Season 4 Draws 66 Million Viewers

Prime Video has greenlit a sixth season of Reacher just 12 days after season 4's finale, buoyed by strong viewership numbers that rank among the platform's most-watched seasons.

Reacher season 6 has been confirmed by Prime Video, arriving just 12 days after the season 4 finale aired. The renewal comes after the show was only greenlit for a fifth season earlier this year, but viewership performance prompted the platform to extend the series further.

Season 4 attracted 66 million viewers during its first 28 days on Prime Video, surpassing season 3's numbers. The season ranks among the five most-viewed seasons of any original series on Prime Video to date.

Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television at Prime Video, commented on the renewal: "Reacher hits hard. Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher – he's delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world. Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn't be more excited to continue this journey. Reacher is a truly iconic series, and we're thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for season 6."

Season 5 is currently in production with filming underway in Toronto. The Reacher universe has expanded with the spin-off series Neagley, which recently launched on Prime Video. Star Maria Stern discussed the spin-off's approach to her character, saying: "I was very impressed with how they managed to weave in this very emotional story into this splashy action thriller show."
