Three Classic Toy Story Games Delisted on PS5, Removed from PS Plus Premium

Three classic Toy Story games have been delisted from the PlayStation Store and are no longer available through PS Plus Premium. The affected titles are Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (PS1), Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue (PS1), and Toy Story 3 (PSP).

Players who previously installed these games through PS Plus Premium will be locked out from playing them, even if the titles remain on their consoles. According to Push Square, the delisting aligns with Disney's release of Toy Story Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition, which will preserve these games but require purchase.

The PSP version of Toy Story 3 presents a particular concern for collectors. This version differs significantly from the PS3 remaster, featuring a campaign built around Rex's illustrated storybook with more straightforward level design and no Toy Box mode. Players who want to retain access to the PSP edition must purchase it separately outside of PS Plus Premium before it becomes unavailable. Those without legal ownership will need to acquire an original UMD and use PSP hardware or legally obtained ROM files on an emulator.

While Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue will likely appear in Toy Story Retro Roundup with identical gameplay, the standalone PS Store version maintains its own Trophy set for players seeking completion. Push Square noted confusion around Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, which is also included in the Retro Roundup compilation but has not been announced for removal from PS Plus Premium as an emulated version.

The removals took effect on 29 September 2026. Players interested in these titles now have access only through the new compilation and remaster releases from Disney.
