Red Bull Wings Cup Opens in India for EA Sports FC 27 Players

Red Bull has launched the Indian leg of its Wings Cup tournament for EA Sports FC 27 players, giving competitors a path to the World Final in Miami. The Indian stage runs from September 28 to November 14, 2026, and Red Bull confirmed the details in Mumbai on October 5.

Players can qualify through two routes. The University League hosts campus qualifiers across Indian colleges, with every match played in FC 27's Rush mode. Wins add points to a National Leaderboard, and players may enter multiple qualifiers to recover from a poor performance. The Open League runs online through PlayStation Tournaments inside EA Sports FC 27 on PS5, using Ultimate Team brackets to decide who advances.

The best performers from both leagues meet at the India National Final, where a single winner is crowned. That player represents India at the World Final in Miami, where national winners from participating countries compete together. Red Bull expects the World Final to take place in January 2027. India joins the UK and US as part of the global series, which Red Bull launched with EA Sports in September.

Players who do not enter the tournament can still claim rewards. Limited-edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans carry an eight-digit code and a QR code. Scanning the code and logging in with an EA Account unlocks 250 Season Points, a Player Pick Loan Player Item for seven games, and Red Bull Wings Cup Ultimate Team kit content.

Registration details, qualifier locations, and the full format are available on the official Red Bull Wings Cup India event page. The Indian leg began on September 28 and closes on November 14, so University League participants gain the most by entering early, since each additional qualifier adds another chance to earn leaderboard points.
