The Relic: First Guardian Sets Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 Release Dates

Action RPG The Relic: First Guardian will expand to additional platforms later this year, according to a joint announcement from Perp Games and Project Cloud Games. The game, which launched on PC and PlayStation 5 at the end of July, is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S on September 25, 2026, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version following on October 9, 2026.

In addition to the new platform releases, the publishers confirmed that The Relic: First Guardian will be reduced in price to $34.99 on all platforms beginning August 26, 2026. Players who purchased the game at full price before that date will receive an exclusive Sealing Stone item, which grants access to a unique dungeon featuring a dedicated storyline, boss fight, and special loot.

Set in the apocalyptic world of Arsiltus, The Relic: First Guardian tasks players with locating the pieces of a destroyed great relic in order to close the void that has consumed the land. Combat allows players to choose between different weapon types, while character growth is driven entirely by equipped runes, items, and other gear.
