Street Fighter V temporarily delisted as Capcom shuts down online over PHP security vulnerability
Capcom has taken Street Fighter V offline and suspended sales on Steam and PlayStation Store following a PHP security flaw that affected multiple online services last week. The game remains playable for existing owners, but ranked matches and the store

Street Fighter V's online functionality has been shut down and the game temporarily delisted from digital storefronts as Capcom addresses security issues stemming from last week's PHP programming language vulnerability.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Capcom said "Emergency maintenance is currently underway to address this issue. Until the fix has been completed, sales on the PlayStation Store and Steam will be suspended in stages." The publisher did not specify how Street Fighter V could be vulnerable to the flaw but noted the security-led shutdowns affected multiple online services across the industry.
Street Fighter V remains playable for players who already own it, though ranked matches and the in-game store are offline. Arcade Mode is still available for single-player sessions. The delisting affects new purchases only.
Despite the launch of Street Fighter 6 three years ago, Street Fighter V maintains an active playerbase drawn to its larger character roster and distinctive V-Skill and V-Trigger mechanics. The temporary shutdown marks an unusual disruption for the veteran fighting game, which received an Arcade Mode update after three years in development.
