Nintendo Indie World Showcase Set for October 28
Nintendo will host a 15-minute Indie World Showcase on October 28, featuring announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has announced a new Indie World Showcase for October 28 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. The broadcast will run approximately 15 minutes and will focus on indie games from third-party Nintendo partners.
"Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch," Nintendo's announcement stated. The showcase will be available through Nintendo's official YouTube channel.
Nintendo's previous Indie World Showcase took place in March 2026 and featured several upcoming titles. Games highlighted at that event include Denshattack, a port of the twin-stick shooter Minishoot' Adventures, and Blue Prince.
The Indie World Showcase format provides a regular look at smaller releases heading to Switch consoles. The timing comes as Nintendo approaches the end of 2026, with the company's holiday-season release being a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which was featured prominently during September's The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Direct.
