Square Enix has announced its comprehensive lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs September 17–21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The publisher's booth will showcase a mix of upcoming releases, established franchises, and interactive experiences spanning multiple platforms and genres.

The two marquee titles at Square Enix's TGS 2026 presence are Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Final Fantasy Resonance, both of which will feature playable demos. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled for April 8, 2027 on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, while Final Fantasy Resonance launches October 22, 2026 across Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The booth will also showcase the progression of the FFVII Remake Trilogy through photo opportunities featuring Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and FFVII Revelation.

Kingdom Hearts content will also be prominent. Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] releases October 8, 2026 for Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X, and will be available for gameplay at the booth. Kingdom Hearts IV, slated for late 2027 on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, will also be showcased.

The Dragon Quest franchise will have significant representation. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, launching December 3, 2026 for Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, will not have a playable demo but will feature a meet-and-greet session with Fluffy and themed giveaways. Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition arrives September 24, 2026 on Switch 2. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined will have a demo available at the Family Game Park section of TGS. Additionally, Dragon Quest X Online and Dragon Quest Smash/Grow will be featured.

Final Fantasy XIV will have a visible presence through trailers for FFXIV Evercold, launching January 2027 across Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Costumed meet-and-greet characters from FFXIV will appear during public days (September 19–21), along with Moogle and Alpha the Chocobo. The booth will also screen trailers for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, a mobile title available now on Android and iOS.

Square Enix's booth will include a dedicated shop with select merchandise, special promotional bags while supplies last, and a lottery for signed merchandise purchases. Confirmed promotional items include a Final Fantasy Resonance pixel art panel and an FFVII Revelation x FFXIV tote bag.
