Signal Veil, a survival horror game for Nintendo Switch 2, has been revealed by developers Serafini Productions and Time Hunters

Serafini Productions and Time Hunters have revealed Signal Veil, a third-person survival horror game coming to Nintendo Switch 2. No launch window has been announced.

Players control Aki Mizuno, a teenage girl whose mother mysteriously vanished, leaving behind a cellphone with supernatural abilities. Using this device, Aki investigates a series of disappearances at Nishikawa High School while uncovering truths about herself.

The cellphone serves as Aki's primary tool for detection and investigation. It vibrates, emits unusual sounds, and displays interference when spiritual presences or lingering memories are nearby. The phone reveals clues invisible to the naked eye and helps identify corrupted areas.

Combat requires strategy rather than direct confrontation. Hostile entities must first be exposed through the spiritual system by disturbing them with the phone's flash, provoking them into revealing themselves, or forcing them to expose their weak points. Players manage limited resources including medicine, key items, and mystical weapons.

Aki's mental state deteriorates as she encounters hostile entities, corrupted locations, and traumatic events. As her emotional stability declines, her perception of reality becomes distorted, altering both the environment and how enemies behave. Players explore Nishikawa High School, which gradually transforms under supernatural influence as they uncover hidden mysteries.
