During a Nintendo Direct presentation, Capcom announced that a trio of Resident Evil remakes will launch for the Switch 2 on October 16. The lineup includes native ports of Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition.

While cloud versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 were previously released on the original Switch, these upcoming releases are native ports. Additionally, this marks the first time that Nintendo gamers will have access to the 2024 remake of Resident Evil 4. The deluxe version of Resident Evil 2 will include its previously released downloadable content, while the gold edition of Resident Evil 4 features Ada Wong's Separate Ways DLC.

Pricing for the titles has also been detailed. Resident Evil 2 will cost £34.99, Resident Evil 3 is priced at £24.99, and Resident Evil 4 will be available for £44.99. Pre-order discounts are currently offered for all three games, lowering the prices to £26.24, £16.49, and £35.99 respectively, just in time for the Halloween season.
