Over 20 PS5 and PS Plus Games Arrive Next Week, Including The Witcher 3 Remastered and Ace Combat 8

PlayStation players face a significant release week as more than 20 titles arrive between September 29 and October 4, headlined by two major franchises making their return.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered launches on September 29, modernizing the open-world RPG with visual and performance upgrades alongside gameplay enhancements. The remaster includes the two critically acclaimed expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Players take on the role of monster slayer Geralt of Rivia, journeying across the Northern Kingdoms to locate his adopted daughter Ciri before the Wild Hunt claims her power.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve also arrives September 2, delivering high-octane aerial combat. Developed by Project Aces, the game puts players in the cockpit as elite pilots engaging in intense dogfights across gripping missions.

Other notable September 29 releases include Minecraft Dungeons II, which shifts from mining to sword-wielding combat across unexplored lands and mysterious locations. Toem 2 offers a relaxing photography adventure designed to welcome both returning fans and newcomers. Transport Fever 3 returns as a transport tycoon simulator spanning land, sea, and sky using over a century of evolving transport options.

Additional notable arrivals include Gothic 2 Complete Classic, a bundle pairing the original with its Night of the Raven expansion; King's Blade, a beat 'em up supporting up to 4-player local co-op; and Way of the Hunter 2, an open-world hunting game set across Africa and North America.

October 1 brings Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition, a revival of the 2002 original and its Xtreme Legends expansion using Unreal Engine 5. The collection features more than 40 officers and numerous recreated battlefields. Anvil Saga challenges players to transform a ramshackle blacksmith shop into a thriving enterprise while managing workers and dealing with local factions.

Smaller releases include Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire, an action-farming-roguelite about a vampire adopting a plant-based diet; Moros Protocol, a sci-fi horror game set aboard a derelict warship; Heartworm, a survival horror hybrid using fixed cameras and over-the-shoulder perspectives; and PUCKOFF: Reloaded, a no-rules hockey game now arriving on console after PC exclusivity.

PS Plus Extra subscribers gain three titles on September 29: Dungeons of Hinterberg, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, and Sniper Elite: Resistance.
