PS Store DB tracks PlayStation sales data and personal gaming history in new fan site
A community-built website aggregates PS Store sales rankings across regions and lets players view their trophy data, playtime, and game recommendations.

A new fan-created website called PS Store DB is tracking PlayStation Store sales data globally and pulling in players' personal gaming history through trophy data.
Built by a ResetEra user named Maki, the site started as a way to manually aggregate each game's position on PlayStation's storefront across different regions. Since PlayStation lacks an equivalent to Steam's concurrent player counts, the site fills that gap by displaying PS Store sales ranks and allowing users to generate shareable images of the results.
Marvel's Wolverine held a strong position on the PS Store in the week following its release, while Control Resonant performed well during its launch week, particularly in Europe and North America, according to the site's data.
Beyond sales tracking, PS Store DB has expanded to include player profile features. Users can enter their PSN username to view their gaming history, playtime statistics, and trophy data. The site shows top-rated games by PS Store user ratings and recommends titles from a player's backlog based on their history. It also integrates PS Store deals to suggest games to purchase.
The site scrapes trophy data to build player profiles, though this means it only tracks games from when users began earning trophies rather than their complete PlayStation history. According to one user's profile shown on the site, a player can accumulate over 16,400 hours on PSN across more than 2,000 games.
PS Store DB continues to add new features regularly and has become a resource for tracking how PlayStation titles are selling worldwide.
