Alongside the release date confirmation, a new trailer has been released to showcase the title's cutscenes and puzzle gameplay. The story is set one year after the events of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, taking place in a new American town called Steam Bison. This setting has rapidly developed beyond London thanks to revolutionary steam technology, and a mysterious incident quickly pulls Professor Layton and Luke into a brand new adventure.
