PlayStation Announces State of Play Broadcast Featuring Final Fantasy 7 Revelation
PlayStation has confirmed a new State of Play airing this Thursday, September 3, highlighted by an extended look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.
PlayStation has officially announced that a new State of Play broadcast will air this week, featuring an extended look at Square Enix's upcoming game, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. According to a PlayStation Blog post, the digital showcase is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, at 6:00 am PT, 9:00 am ET, and 2:00 pm BST.
Viewers can expect a variety of updates and announcements coming from PlayStation Studios alongside third-party partners. The broadcast will conclude with a dedicated, extended look at the vast world of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, which is currently slated to launch early next year. Following that presentation, a separate State of Play Japan stream will provide deep dives, new gameplay footage, and announcements covering upcoming titles from game studios across Japan and Asia.
While official details regarding the full lineup remain limited, the broadcast arrives ahead of other notable releases, such as Marvel's Wolverine, which is set to launch on September 15. The exact runtime for the upcoming streams has not been specified by PlayStation, but fans will not have to wait long to see what developers have in store.
