Phantom Blade Zero Hits 3 Million Wishlists Ahead of October Launch

The action RPG has accumulated over 3 million wishlists across all platforms, nearly doubling its August total as release approaches.

Phantom Blade Zero has crossed 3 million wishlists across all platforms ahead of its October 29 launch, a significant jump from the 1.62 million Steam wishlists reported in early August.

The milestone reflects strong player interest despite a crowded release window. A release date trailer and extended State of Play showcase drove momentum, with creative director Qiwei "Soulframe" Liang noting that pre-orders "far exceeded expectations" in the first week. Analytics firm Alinea estimated 300,000 copies sold on Steam alone as of late August, suggesting the current wishlist total may have roughly doubled.

The action RPG launches October 29 on PS5 and PC. It arrives during a busy season for major releases, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake releasing days later and Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19. The sustained enthusiasm suggests the timing has not dampened player demand.
