Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles Receive Heavy Discounts at UK Retailers

UK players can currently purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 for £354.99 from Argos or Smyths. This new price point marks a substantial reduction from the console's recent £419.99 price tag, which was implemented earlier this year due to global component shortages following its June 2025 launch at £395.99.

The current discount saves buyers £65, bringing the hardware down to the lowest available price in the country. It remains unclear whether this price cut is a temporary measure designed to clear existing inventory or if the discount will remain active for an extended period.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has scheduled a Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 release for October 29th with a price tag of £429.99. High demand has already caused this special edition console to sell out at the majority of participating retailers.
