Atlus and Studio Zero's acclaimed RPG is getting a 200-page art book featuring concept art, character designs, and developer insights. Pre-orders are now live for a March 2027 release, while the game itself arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 in November 2026.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 next month, and publisher Atlus is marking the occasion with a new art book. The Art of Metaphor: ReFantazio opens pre-orders today ahead of its March 9, 2027 release.
The 200-page book features concept art, character sketches, and development insights from the game's creative team. Art director Shigenori Soejima and the Studio Zero art team contributed dozens of pieces documenting the game's visual development.
Beyond artwork, the book includes behind-the-scenes details about the creation of the game's narrative, gameplay systems, and the fantasy world of the United Kingdom of Euchronia and its tribes. The description highlights the book as a chronicle of the creative vision behind what it calls 2024's most acclaimed RPG.
Pre-orders are available now through standard retailers, with region-specific links for Canada and the UK. The main game launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026.
