Marvel’s Wolverine Trailer Provides Brief New Gameplay Snippets Ahead of Launch

With only a week left before its official launch, Insomniac Games has released a brand-new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine. Titled “The Best There Is” in reference to Logan’s signature catchphrase, the 30-second video follows up on last week's State of Play launch trailer by incorporating a few fresh gameplay snippets.

Among the new sequences shown in the trailer, Logan is seen tossing a Sentinel’s ripped-off tendril right back at the machine, providing a measure of payback after previously being swung around by it in another fight. The footage also showcases Logan going toe-to-toe with Deathstrike and narrowly avoiding a strike from her mystical katana. Additionally, another shot features him crashing an aircraft near a Trask Industries building, seemingly signaling his arrival.

Marvel’s Wolverine is scheduled to launch on September 15th exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console. Players purchasing the physical edition can also look forward to a release that is fully playable offline, allowing fans to dive straight into the original story based on the legendary mutant anti-hero.
