Marvel’s Wolverine Gets Its Claws Out In Action-Packed Launch Trailer

Insomniac Games has debuted the official launch trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine during Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast. The action-packed preview gives players one final look at the upcoming superhero title ahead of its scheduled release on September 15, 2027.

Developed as a standalone entry centered on the popular anti-hero, the game tells a self-contained story while sharing continuity with other Marvel worlds previously established by Insomniac. Players will step into the role of James ‘Logan’ Howlett, also known as Wolverine, who is portrayed by actor Liam McIntyre. Armed with his signature regenerative healing powers and retractable metal claws, Logan embarks on a globe-trotting journey that brings him into contact with other iconic characters from the universe, including Mystique, Omega Red, and the formidable Sentinels.
