Brilliant PS5 Beat-'Em-Up All-In on Avengers: Doomsday Hype in New DLC

Developer Tribute Games has announced a new major expansion for Marvel Cosmic Invasion titled The Siege of Castle Doom. Set to arrive later this fall, the upcoming premium downloadable content aims to align with the hype surrounding the Avengers: Doomsday film release in December.

According to the official press release, the upcoming expansion features the infamous Doctor Doom at the center of an all-new game mode. The new mode will arrive alongside two brand-new playable characters for the title. Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a DICE Awards-nominated, tag-team cooperative beat-'em-up that celebrates classic Marvel storylines and entertainment. Earlier in the year, previous DLC added Cyclops and The Thing to the roster, while developer Tribute Games had previously teased fresh challenges for players.

As of now, there is no word on a price or any gameplay footage for The Siege of Castle Doom. Fans of the brawler looking for an excuse to return to the game will have their chance when the expansion launches this fall for the PlayStation 5.
