Keep Driving, the turn-based road trip RPG from YCJY Games, is launching on consoles and gaining Steam Workshop mod support on September 28, 2026.

The game will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Console versions will include all current PC updates. On PC, Steam Workshop integration arrives as a beta update, allowing players to customize their adventures with community-created mods.

"Using Steam Workshop, you can finally tailor your own adventures to create the ultimate road trip," YCJY Games wrote in a Steam post. The studio noted the mod tools are launching in beta and will require players to opt into a specific Steam branch before the full release, with access details and patch notes coming closer to launch.

Keep Driving launched on PC last year and tasks players with embarking on a road trip to a festival set in the early 2000s. Players start in their first car and travel across a procedurally generated pixel art world. Each run takes one to four hours, with multiple endings and paths available. Along the way, players pick up hitchhikers, upgrade and repair their vehicle, and engage in turn-based battles with road hazards.

Reviewers praised the game's nostalgic atmosphere and mechanical depth. One described it as a hypnotic experience of picking up hitchhikers and battling tailgaters, featuring pixel art visuals, tactile controls, and sound design suited to the journey. The game drew inspiration from titles like Jalopy and FTL.

Keep Driving previously added gamepad support and junkyard locations to the PC version. The console releases will provide access to the full feature set currently available on PC.
