Activision and Infinity Ward are bringing Season 1 to Modern Warfare 4 on November 6, featuring new multiplayer maps, the X01 DMZ Black Site, fresh weapons, and full integration with Call of Duty: Warzone's two new maps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 arrives November 6, bringing a substantial content update across multiplayer, DMZ, and the integrated free-to-play Warzone experience.
The season introduces six new multiplayer maps including the reimagined Shoot House and Kill Block: Crash, where players drop into a static layout with Crash always front and center. Additional maps come at the mid-season update, including Ministry and Overflow. Fan favorites Shipment and Infected also arrive as part of the pre-season and launch lineup.
Multiplayer modes expand with the return of Grind, plus Drop Zone and Gauntlet 1v1 as part of a Wager Match Event. New modes continue rolling out after the mid-season mark. The pre-season adds Infected and Possession modes timed around Halloween.
DMZ opens up the new X01 Black Site map with additional orders, Intel, FOB enhancements, and Season 1 events. Players can explore the corridors of X01 uncovering secrets while encountering new enemies and challenges.
Arsenal additions include the CSG-35 SMG and Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle available at launch, with the JAK 12 Shotgun and ZLR Talonhawk Melee Weapon arriving later. New Attachments and Weapon Details expand loadout options. Season cosmetics include new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and DMZ Survival Kits. The Call of Duty Endowment's C.O.D.E. Valor Pack and "Locked Down" Weapon Camo are also available.
Warzone receives two new maps with Hajin and Zodiac joining the rotation alongside returning favorites Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Full details on Warzone Season 1 updates arrive November 2 on the Call of Duty blog, with a dedicated roadmap covering all additions to the free-to-play experience. Modern Warfare 4 becomes fully integrated with Warzone as part of the season launch.
Season 1 content goes live at 9 p.m. Pacific time on November 5 across all platforms, just over two weeks after Modern Warfare 4's October 23 launch.
