Marvel’s Wolverine takes players around the world in control of the iconic X-Men character, featuring locations like Canada and Madripoor. A core part of the game is returning to previous missions to explore them again, allowing players to pick up missed items or experience favorite story moments.

Missions in Marvel’s Wolverine are replayed by interacting with the bed in any Nightmare Trials Cabin. This action displays an overview of the completion percentage for that specific mission. Players can visit the Nightmare Trials Cabin from the main menu or by encountering Nightmare Trial Doors while exploring. This system also permits players to adjust the difficulty of the chosen mission and replay any discovered Nightmare Trials, provided those trials were found during the main missions.

Replaying missions serves a major role in tracking down collectibles. Whisky Bottles act as a key collectible that provides AP upon discovery. This AP can be used to make adjustments to Wolverine’s DNA and unlock key benefits, though these bottles are not always marked with visual or audio pings. Material Caches are another type of collectible, which can be located using Wolverine’s heightened senses. These caches are marked by a pulsing blue outline and audio cues, and they are used to create additional suits that provide increased health based on the number of unlocked outfits.
