Accessory manufacturer Hori has announced a new arcade stick for the Switch 2 called the Hori Arcade Classic Pro. Officially licensed by Nintendo, the controller features a customizable design with two modular components on the left and right sides of the device.

Players can choose between four directional control options. These options include a standard arcade stick, a trackball, a paddle, and a loop lever. The loop lever functions like a traditional arcade stick, but users can also rotate the lever for an additional control scheme. The hardware is compatible with fighting games, shooting games, and Hamster's Arcade Archives series.

The physical device measures approximately 50cm in width, 29cm in depth, and 11cm in height. The main unit weighs about 2.0kg without a unit and including the cable, while individual modular weights vary slightly. The stick weighs approximately 0.4kg, and the trackball, paddle, and loop lever each weigh about 0.3kg. The controller connects via a USB Type-A connection using a cable that is roughly 3.0m long.

At the time of writing, there are no details regarding a western release. The controller is currently available on Hori's Japan website for 39,980 yen.
