GTA 6 DualSense Controllers Target Scalpers On eBay Ahead of November Launch
Scalpers are listing limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers on eBay for inflated prices before their November release, despite ongoing availability on PlayStation Direct.

Limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers have become the latest target for scalpers, drawing comparisons to previous console shortages. Sony unveiled two distinct controller designs featuring eye-catching details such as palm tree elements and shimmering color-shifting finishes. While the items are tied to the upcoming launch of GTA 6, Sony has not announced a corresponding limited-edition PlayStation 5 console.
Sony lists the two controller variants at a manufacturer suggested retail price of $84 each. Despite this official pricing, scalpers have listed the accessories on eBay with average sales prices reaching approximately $140. Demand has already impacted inventory, with the white controller model showing as out of stock while the black version remains listed for preorder on the PlayStation Direct store.
These secondary market transactions also run counter to eBay terms of service. The platform specifies that presale listings must guarantee shipping within 40 business days of purchase. Because the controllers are scheduled to ship on November 19 to align with the launch of GTA 6, individual listings exceed the allowable timeframe. eBay is currently not enforcing these specific rules regarding the preorders.
