Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Getting Sephiroth and Vincent DLC Episodes in 2027 and 2028
Square Enix has greenlit two story DLC episodes for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation following fan demand. Sephiroth's episode arrives in Winter 2027, with Vincent and the Turks following in Spring 2028.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will receive two story-focused DLC episodes, Square Enix announced. Director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that Sephiroth will star in the first episode, arriving in Winter 2027, while Vincent Valentine and the Turks take center stage in the second, coming Spring 2028.
The decision to greenlight the DLC came together recently, following substantial fan interest after the game's reveal at Summer Game Fest. Hamaguchi told RPG Site that the episodes weren't part of the original plan and only emerged after the volume of fan requests following the announcement.
Neither DLC is currently in development. The team's full focus remains on completing the main game, which launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on April 8, 2027. This release concludes the remake trilogy that began with the reimagining of Cloud Strife's story.
Speaking with DualShockers, Hamaguchi clarified that the base game will deliver a complete narrative experience on its own. The DLC is designed to add depth to Vincent and Sephiroth rather than alter the trilogy's ending. Players won't need either episode to fully experience Revelation's story, and the goal is to provide additional insight into these two characters without rewriting or reframing how the main game concludes.
