Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Datamine May Leak Future DLC Characters

A recent datamine of the latest update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has potentially leaked several upcoming DLC characters. The details, uncovered by dataminer heavenstardrive, suggest that characters such as Li Xiangfei and Alfred could be headed to the fighting game in a future season.

According to the datamined files, new win quote dialogue from the character Rick points to multiple unannounced fighters. One line of dialogue mentions Xiangfei, while another refers to a character who uses water, which is speculated to be Panni, one of Laocorn's goons. These characters are speculated to arrive relatively soon, potentially in Season 4 of the game's post-launch roadmap.

Additionally, another win dialogue line references a character who can make things windy, which fans believe points to Alfred. A 42nd win dialogue line refers to a character who can really punch, with the community consensus pointing toward Draken. Lastly, Rick has a line describing a boxer unlike any they have faced before, calling it a battle of the minds. This unnamed character is speculated to be White.

While developer SNK has not officially confirmed these roster additions, the leaks offer a strong indication of what lies ahead for the fighter. In separate news, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026. Players who pre-order the game on Nintendo's console will receive the Classic Costume for Mai Shiranui as a free extra, whereas the costume is paid DLC on other platforms.
