Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Character Creator Now Live on Switch 2

Capcom has made the Character Creator & Storage app available on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players a chance to prepare for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen before its October 9, 2026 release.

The app includes an update with new hairstyles and tattoos that will appear in the Dark Arisen expansion. Players can create multiple characters and a pawn, then save them to carry a single character into the full version of the game when it launches.

According to Capcom: "The Character Creator & Storage app has been updated with the new hairstyles and tattoos you'll get in DD2DA! Characters created with these new parts can be used from Oct. 9 when Dark Arisen launches! Nintendo Switch 2 Arisen, Dragon's Dogma 2: Character Creator & Storage is now available on your platform too!"

The demo is restricted to character creation, so players looking for gameplay on Switch 2 will need to wait for the full release. The app is available as a free download on the eShop through the game's page. This marks another step in Capcom's preparations for bringing Dragon's Dogma 2 to Nintendo's new console, with the developer previously confirming the game will target a minimum of 30fps on the platform.
