Control Resonant PS5 Update 1.4 Adds Infinite New Game+ Mode

Remedy has delivered Control Resonant update 1.4 for PS5, live now with expanded New Game+ functionality. The enhanced mode removes the original one-playthrough restriction, letting players repeat the campaign an infinite number of times to continue engaging with combat and exploration.

Alongside the New Game+ expansion, Remedy has addressed difficulty feedback from the community. Combat intensity and frequency in the Unknown Zone have been decreased by 10-15%, making progression more manageable for players. The update also improves build customization visibility, adding your overall Build Power level to the Loadout screen and sending notifications when upgrades become available in The Gap.

Remedy confirmed a follow-up update arriving in November that will add Photo Mode to Control Resonant. The developer continues iterating on the game based on player experience, signaling ongoing support for the PS5 exclusive.
