Console Archives Chack'n Pop launches October 1 on PS5 and Switch 2

Console Archives Chack'n Pop will launch on October 1 for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2.

The release expands Hamster's growing catalog of preserved arcade and console titles, making the classic available to players on current-generation hardware. Console Archives titles typically include the original game alongside optional enhancements and quality-of-life features.

Chack'n Pop is a maze-based arcade game where players navigate tight spaces while avoiding enemies and collecting items. The game shares design DNA with other early 1980s arcade titles but distinguishes itself through its unique mechanics and level design.

The October 1 launch date aligns with a broader wave of archive releases, as Hamster continues to bring historical titles to modern platforms. Both PS5 and Switch 2 owners will have access on the same day.
