Cassette Beasts 2002 Launches in March 2027 With Voice Cast Revealed

Publisher Raw Fury and developer Bytten Studio have announced an updated launch window for Cassette Beasts 2002. The indie monster-raising RPG is scheduled to release worldwide in March 2027. Following an initial appearance during the Xbox Showcase at Gamescom, the companies released a standalone trailer detailing the title's release window, setting, and English voice cast.

Set in a world based on London in the year 2000—referred to as Nodnol—the game follows a mysterious occultist who transports several people into an enigmatic realm. Players must harness over 250 beasts and explore 50,000 beast combinations to unmask the threat. The adventure supports single-player, online play, story co-op, and PvP with power-scaling options, alongside trading mechanics. Players will also encounter 12 companions featuring individual quests and bonds. Among the revealed English voice actors is Neil Newbon, known for his work in Baldur’s Gate 3, who voices the character Westerley.

Combat retains the essentials of its 2023 predecessor while introducing Rogue monsters that return later after adapting to player tactics. While the game features full English voice-acting support, subtitle options will be available in French, Italian, German, Spanish (Castilian and Latin American), Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

Cassette Beasts 2002 is planned for release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
