Wuthering Waves Version 3.7 Adds Two Resonators, Story Chapter, and Mobile Performance Options

Kuro Games will release version 3.7 of free-to-play action RPG Wuthering Waves on September 30. Titled Prism's Illusion, Heart's Illumination, the update adds new story content, two playable Resonators, expanded areas, and system improvements targeting mobile and handheld players.

The story continues with Chapter IV Act IV: Simulacrum of the Heart, alongside a new Tales Quest called Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing. Players can explore the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou, a new area, and engage with Blooms for the Shadow, a permanent event.

Two new Resonators arrive with the update. Hsin and Suoming come with signature weapons, Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue respectively. Five new Echoes join the roster, including Formrender and Jade Nether Serpent, along with three new Sonata Effects.

The update overhauls Echo management by automatically stacking unequipped Echoes of the same type and stats in the Echo Backpack, with each stack holding up to 999 Echoes. Team management expands to support 20 customizable team setups and adds an optional 3D display mode.

A notable addition for mobile and handheld players is a limited test of Tiered Client Resource Downloads across PC, iOS, and Android. Players can choose between UHD, HD, and SD resource packages to balance visual quality with storage requirements. The Camera System gains new Handheld and Selfie modes, and Main Quest Replay is now available through the Journey Log.

Beyond the main update, Kuro Games announced the Solaris Starry Stage fan creation program and teased new chibi figures in collaboration with RIBOSE. The studio is developing Wuwa Tappo, a desktop pet application based on Wuthering Waves.
